Derek was admitted as an attorney in 1990 and has practised as a Litigation and Commercial attorney ever since. He has extensive experience in property and commercial litigation.

 

Derek leads the company’s Commercial Department, covering general commercial work, mergers and acquisitions and all other facets of Company Law.

Derek has expert knowledge in the formation of Inter Vivos trusts and estate planning.

He has a keen interest in Sports Law, having legally represented South African Sporting Legends over the years.

​

Derek is a keen Golfer and has a love of Photography and Travel.
